The job so far...

I've been in Singapore for nearly six weeks now and things are going well. I was just beginning to think that my new job is detracting somewhat from my pie and cake tasting abilities - which it inevitably is to a certain extent - but I have just had a really nice Cheese, Egg and Ham pie that was very tasty, despite being four days old and also having been given some microwave treatment. More on pies and cake at a later date.

This new job I've got as a teacher of Outdoor Education gets in the way because I have to spend a lot of time, from Monday to Friday, away from school, on an island called Tioman, situated just off the south east tip of Malaysia. Grade 6 children + Remote island = Pie 'n' Cake barrier. Not perfect, although things could be worse, as I'll explain.

Alex - you're only on 242 profile views on our old blog, while yours truly is on nearly double that. You do the math.

As for the cycling scam, I've forwarded your real details to the government and you'll be evicted from the UK in the next few days. I can see why you were on the footpath. Roads are probably much too busy for an amateur like yourself to cope with.

Mum - please don't use bad language on my blog, especially when it relates to me.
